PBR: Why did you choose Lake Erie?
Reid: I chose Lake Erie because I have a chance to be in the starting rotation right away, and when i visited the campus, i felt right at home.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Reid: Toledo, Miami, OH, Akron, and Ole Miss
PBR: Where did the coaches first see you? How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?
Reid: I'm not sure where they first saw me, but Coach McGee and I have been in contact since the high school season, and the relationship has gradually gotten better and better.
PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team going into your senior season?
Reid: With me just having Tommy John surgery, my goals are to come back strong, and hopefully catch some action at the end of the high school season.
PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?
Reid: North Coast Gladiators. Playing in the championship in the Buckeye Elite tournament against the 18u Ohio Elite team.
PBR: What were your stats this spring season at Amherst Steele?
Reid: IP: 38 W-L: 4-3 ERA: 3.50 K's: 38
PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have faced in Ohio?
Reid: There are to many good hitters in Ohio to pick just one.
