Fredericktown, a 2012 state semi-finalist, has seven returning starters from last year’s successful season.  After a 23-4 record, Coach Craze can only expect big things to happen again. 

Led by All-Ohioan, Matt Smith (Western Carolina commit) and Nash Cunningham (Ashland commit), the Freddies should be at the top of the leaderboard in the Mid Buckeye Conference. 

Class of 2013

• OF/P, Matt Smith – The 5-foot-11, 190-pound lefty will control both the outfield and the mound.  Also an All-State football player.  (pictured)
• P/SS, Nash Cunningham – The 6-foot, 170-pound prospect posted a 11-2 record on the mound with his 83 mph fastball.
• P/3B, Andrew Hulse - The 5-foot-10, 205 pound righty received All-Mid Buckeye honors last year. 

Class of 2014

• OF, Austin Hathaway

Class of 2015

• C, Tyler Ruhl – The 5-foot-9, 155-pound catcher received All-District honors as a freshman.
