Coming off a 19-5 season, Athens High School only returns two starters in the starting lineup and one pitcher in the rotation.

While there will be several players taking on new roles in the Athens dugout, the most notable change comes in the form of Chris Stewart’s transition from pitching coach to head coach.

Coach Stewart looks to find the perfect mix of players to help defend the Tri Valley Conference title against the likes of Meigs Marauders, Alexander Spartans, and Nelson-York Buckeyes.

Class of 2013

• C, Tanner Wood – Returns for his second year behind the dish.
• RHP/IF, Alex Staron – Finished last season as the ace of the Bulldog staff.

Class of 2015
