Scouting Report: The southpaw has been a regular writeup at a couple of other winter events. This was my first time seeing him this winter. In many ways, he reminds me of ‘17 LHP Logan Sabo (Moeller/Montavello recruit). On this occasion, he sat 82-83, maintaining his velocity out of the stretch. His breaking ball will be an effective out pitch at the next level. It sat 69-70 mph with hard, 1/7 action down in the zone. Also mixed in a changeup that is thrown with good arm speed at 72-75 mph.
