Andrew Clelland, RHP, Harrison Central, 2020
Scouting Report: What a difference a few months have made for Clelland. He showed up at the event noticeably more physical and it translated to his performance on the mound. He showed the same clean arm action, fast arm and command of secondary stuff we saw in June, but with a large velocity jump. This summer Clelland sat 71-74 mph at the Future 50. This event was a different story as he consistently sat 79-81 mph, topping at 82 mph. The righty is showing all the signs of becoming one of the top prospects in Ohio’s 2020 class.
