With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Oak Hills Highlanders
Team Name: Oak Hills Highlanders
Head Coach: Chuck Laumann
Division: I
2017 Record: 12-13
Conference Record: Greater Miami Conference, 8-10, 6th
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/3
Team Strengths:
- Speed
- Defense
- Top 2 Pitchers
Coach Outlook: “Much varsity game experience returning, but not much success with returners. Need to find a catcher and complete a pitching staff. Will be much better than last year but success will be relative to our competition and how strong they are.”
PBR Outlook: With a good amount of experience returning from a year ago, coach Chuck Laumann and the Highlanders are looking forward to 2018.
