Friday's Games
Friday, 12U Game 1 - 10:30
- Parker Corbin impressed, excelling defensively. In the first inning, he came across the infield on a slow roller up the middle and made a hard play look easy and routine. At the the plate, the left-handed hitter is a prototypical top of the order type bat. He sprayed the ball all over the field and demonstrated the ability to square up left-handed pitching.
Saturday Games
13U game 1
- SS/RHP Dakota Secrest laced two singles while collecting an RBI and a stolen base.
- Big 6-foot, 190-pound Cam Gilkerson went the opposite way hitting a RBI double down left field line. He later stole third base and scored on a wild pitch.
- Easton Eibel added a triple to right field. The middle infielder/outfielder swings it well from the left-side with a quiet, simple swing that generates good pop for his size.
- Cole Cahill also added a triple to right field. The 6-foot, 130-pound prospect will be an intriguing follow as he nears high school. He swings it well from the left side and shows the athleticism to play several positions in the outfield.
