PBR: Why did you choose Malone?
Cobb: I think it was the best fit for me and the future for Malone is looking good.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Cobb: Notre Dame College, Lake Erie and Kent State
PBR: Where did the coaches first see you compete and how did your relationship develop with the rest of the coaching staff?
Cobb: Throughout my Junior year of high school ball and we just kept in touch a lot after that.
PBR: What role does the coaching staff expect you to play during your first year on campus?
Cobb: A potential starter and game changer for the team.
PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?
Cobb: My parents, they have always supported me through everything.
PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most exciting experience playing summer ball?
Cobb: Diamond Boy's and Mash Factory Elite. The most exciting experience was probably when I tracked down a ball in deep left center that my good friend from high school ball, Chad Matthus, hit.
PBR: What were your stats last season?
Cobb: .500+ OBP, .400+ B AVG, 1st Team All Federal League, Joe Herman Award
