Hudepohl Makes Commitment To Kentucky
Wyatt Hudepohl RHP / 1B / St Xavier, OH / 2020CINCINNATI - As the top pitcher and the second-rated player overall in Ohio’s 2020 class, Wyatt Hudepohl has not had trouble finding college interest. An impressive list of schools from North Carolina to Duke to Vanderbilt and Clemson were among those that have courted the 6-3 200-pound right-handed pitcher. And while going south is going to happen, in the end Hudepohl has decided to make a commitment to Kentucky. “The coaching staff,” Hudepohl said about what in his eyes separated Kentucky from the rest. “I never talked to more genuine people. They are some of the best guys in the world and they want to make you better.” Kentucky first saw the St. Xavier junior-to-be pitch a bullpen in March. A month ago, Hudepohl was seen pitching for the Midland 17U team in Kentucky. |
