A 6-foot-4 power lefty, Batcho will sit 93-95 mph with his fastball while also mixing in a low-80s slider. Batcho shows an athletic past by being a two sport stud in high school; has over 1000 pts scored for basketball. As a freshman at Cincinnati in 2019, Batcho saw hints of swing and miss stuff with 29 Ks in 33.0 IP out of the bullpen. With 24 strikeouts in 16 IP during the shortened 2020 season, Batcho routinely induces swing/miss with his explosive heater.
