Convoy Crestview senior left-handed pitcher Damian Helm is coming off a successful junior season.
The 6-foot-4, 183-pound prospect collected first team all-state honors at the Division IV level while being named the Northwest Conference Co-Player of the Year.
Now, as he heads into his senior season, Helm is deciding between three schools for the next four years of his life.
"Right now I'm deciding between IPFW, Adrian College and Ohio Northern," he explained.
He continued, "I like that each school has a great group of experienced coaches that I feel would be a great fit for me."
All three schools present a different level of NCAA division play, and consequently, different opportunities for the big lefty.
"I've talked to the coaches on a weekly basis and they all seem like very good guys that can help me become the best baseball player I can be," he said.
So far, Helm has only taken one visit, but he will soon make stops to the remaining schools on his list.
"I visited IPFW in August and plan to make visits to Adrian and ONU in September and October," he explained.
At this point, Helm does not have a front runner in his recruiting process.
