Several recruits from the State of Ohio talk about their relationship with a specific coach from their future college program.
This week, I asked commits to talk about a particular coach with whom they have formed a bond.
Mason McWilliams, LHP, Seneca East HS/Ohio University: "Coach Smith. He's got a lot of energy and a will to win. He wants to change the face of Ohio University and I believe we can do that. We've got the same goals in mind and that's what we're working towards."
Tyler Gullet, IF/OF, Keystone HS/University of Toledo: "Coach McIntyre is my favorite coach ever since I visited for the first time me and him shared a bond! He is the hitting coach and fielding coach so I will be spending a lot of time with him. On my official he took me through what he does in practice and he is very laid back! He makes sure his players know what to do where to be and how your supposed to do something! He is my favorite coach for Toledo even though I love them all."
Justin Mott, C, Amherst Steele HS/Bowling Green University: "I have a good relationship with Coach Blanc. He is the one that recruited me and he calls me all the time and checks up on me and sees how football is going and he would also call me and ask how tournaments went In the summer and stuff like that!
Jarod Yoakam, RHP, Marysville HS/University of Cincinnati: "I have a really good relationship with Coach Heilman. He has worked with me and gave me tips throughout camps and ever since I've known him. I like him so much because I feel that he will help continue to push Cincinnati to new heights and gets along with his players which is always important."
