A jam-packed pre-season, spring, and now summer has put our New York scouting staff in-front of hundreds of 2018 prospects over the past 8-months. The last true 2018 New York rankings were released before the high-school season began. The 2018 class is very deep with high-level talent, evidenced by six division-one commitments in the top 10, and 14 D1 commitments in the top 40. This list expands from 50 to nearly 100 prospects with several players making significant jumps, including a new No. 1 overall in the state, and three new players to the top 10. Let's take a deeper look at the 2018 updated and expanded New York player rankings.
The new No. 1 overall in New York is Virginia commitment LHP Brandon Neeck (Horace Greeley HS).
