Physical: 5-foot-10, 160-pounds. Lean, athletic build.
Run: 7.23 runner in the 60.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open; tall; feet are shoulder width apart; drives everything to the middle of the field. Consistent hard contact up the middle; great hands and gets them through the zone.
Power: 96 MPH raw exit velocity. Pop to middle of the field; very consistent line drives.
Defense: Works low with the baseball; able to play laterally with controlled footwork; smooth actions with good glovework.
Arm: 3/4 arm slot; medium arm swing. INF - 81 MPH.
Pitching Delivery: Works up tempo, rides the back leg on stride out with shoulder tilt before pulling through a repeatable follow through on a strong front side.
Arm Action: Long arm action dropping down and back out of the glove, high 3/4 release.
FB: T85, 82-85 MPH. Commands with downhill plane and ride through the zone.
CB: 66-66 MPH. 12-6 shape.
SL: 67-68 MPH. 11-5 shape with depth.
CH: 72-73 MPH. Good arm speed with late fade.
An athletic build at 5-foot-9,155 pounds. Ran a 7.32 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- Starts in a wide stance, slightly open. Slight bend in the knees. Has a short simple load. Has a quick direct path to the baseball. Keeps his hands close to the body. Gets full extension after the point of contact. Stays balanced throughout the hitting zone. Top exit velocity was 93 MPH. Defensively- Has an aggressive approach to the baseball. Stays balanced and under control when fielding the baseball. Shows above average funnel actions. Has a smooth transition from a high ¾ arm slot. Moves well laterally. Top throwing velocity was 78 MPH. Pitching- The RHP displayed a repeatable balanced delivery. Works with tempo. Works mainly from the left side of the rubber. Has smooth hand separation before getting into a balanced back side and driving downhill. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Showed plus FB command with some downward action and peaked at 82 MPH. CB has sharp late break ranging from 64-66 MPH.
Athletic frame with projectable, wiry build. Offensively – Balanced, athletic set-up with slight crouch in posture. Uses a short, forward stride to get feet lined up to pitcher. Stays within his lower half and shows adjustability with hitting actions. Smooth, level swing. Barrel gets thru the zone quickly. Stays balanced throughout with high, one-handed finish. Defensively – Light on his feet while moving laterally. Maintains body control throughout fielding process. Keeps ball centered with upper body stacked over glove hand when funneling into throws. Uses side shuffle to create direction towards target and get momentum behind throw. High exchange with compact, over the top arm action. Pitching – Simple, quick paced delivery. Repeatable, low effort throwing actions. Stays tall and balanced at leg lift. Breaks hands over the rubber and drives off of backside while keeping shoulders level. Strides with consistent direction towards target. Clean, compact arm action that maintains consistent bend in elbow. High ¾ release point with extension out front. Projectable arm with some current polish to his game.
Athletic build with long limbs and visible projection for age. Upbeat tempo and confidence on the bump. Long arm takeaway with high ¾ arm slot. Uses entire body to generate leverage and power towards the plate. Fills the zone with strikes and attacks hitters consistently. FB shows life sitting 75-77 with a peak velo of 78 MPH. Offspeed shows show feel but used infrequently with 12/6 action. More velo to come.
