Top Performer Spotlight: 2023 3B Hayden Chambers (Pittsford Mendon)

Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 700+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the winter we will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

Hayden Chambers 3B / C / Pittsford Mendon, NY / 2023

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Chambers has been with us since early 2019 and has all the signs of a next-level prospect. He stands 5-foot-9, 155-pounds with a strong lower half with room for plenty of growth in the future. At the plate the base is wide, the hands are fluid, and the barrel path has natural lift through the zone, power to the gaps expected. At the hot-corner, he moves well laterally to his glove side, soft hands with a quick/clean transfer. Throws from a mid-3/4 slot, plenty of arm-strength for his age with signs of more to come. Look for Chambers to have a big preseason and upcoming summer in 2020.
