Top Performer Spotlight: 2022 LHP Maxx Yehl (St. Francis HS)
August 27, 2019
Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 500+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the remainder of the summer I (Dan Cevette) will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering my "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

CEVETTE'S QUICk HIT
CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Yehl passes the initial eye test standing 6-foot-4, 185-pounds with a frame to dream on. The long-lanky lefty works from a fast paced tempo, long, whippy arm-action from a power 3/4 slot, signs of overall athleticism. FB peaked 83 with natural arm-side run, signs of more velocity in the tank. CB spin was inconsistent but at times had sharp late 1/7 shape. Lofty ceiling for the WNY prospect, currently ranked No. 6 in our 2022 NY Rankings.
