Tim's Take
Physical: 6-foot-2, 177-pounds. Tall lanky build.
Run: 7.54 runner in the 60.
Hit: RHH. Tall stance; keeps chest and hands up; medium leg kick; power to the pull side; quick hands through the zone. Utilizes slight incline in his swing path to hit the ball in the air.
Power: 80 MPH raw exit velocity. Strong through the ball to generate power with a high finish to create leverage.
Defense: Active feet with smooth movement through the ball.
Arm: Effortlessly strong 3/4 arm action. INF - 78 MPH.
Quick Hit
"Would like to see more of the lower half incorporated in his swing, not so tall. Acceptable hands to get through the zone to generate good whip. Tierney's ability to get low with such a tall frame and move laterally as smooth as he did make it fun to watch. "
