Top Performer Spotlight: 2021 OF Ethan Diaz (All Hallows)

Dan Cevette
President, New York

Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 700+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the remainder of the summer I (Dan Cevette) will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering my "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Diaz, no stranger to our system, continues to show why he's one of the top 50 players in New York's 2021 class. He stands 5-foot-9, 165-pounds with strength throughout his frame, plenty of raw athleticism. In the box he's loose and easy, barrel path is short with slight lift, shows the ability to hit to all fields with more power to his pull-side. Rangy defensively, moves with no restrictions, glove and footwork are well-trained with a strong throwing arm. Diaz is a next-level prospect hailing from the greater NYC area.
