Top Performer Spotlight: 2021 C Evan Yandricha (Iroquois)
October 22, 2019
Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 700+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the remainder of the summer I (Dan Cevette) will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering my "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

CEVETTE'S QUICk HIT
CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Stocky build standing 5-foot-10, 175-pounds with a catchers frame - sturdy. At the plate he's relaxed and with loose hands, leg lift on the pitch for timing, explodes to the ball with aggressive barrel control, above average bat-speed through contact, natural lift, some juice to his pull-side. During defensive evaluation his tools stood out. Receives throws with soft hands with a wide, balanced base, fast clean footwork, lighting quick release with above average arm-strength to second base on his throws. Advanced backstop hailing from WNY, definitely a player to keep close eyes on.
