Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 500+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the remainder of the summer I (Dan Cevette) will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering my "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

CEVETTE'S QUICk HIT

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Cardone had an impressive showing back in Aug at our 1st ever 2020 Games. The frame is lean with a build that's able to hold more weight once he physically develops, very athletic which was evidenced by his 60 yard dash time (6.95). At the plate during BP he impressed me. Very easy actions, low effort, barrel creates loose whip through the strike-zone, some natural lift with signs of pull-side power potential. Defensively the footwork is average but the arm-strength (81) shows signs of more to come. Overall, a very good looking prospect from the greater Utica area.
