Scouting Report
ENY All-Star Games (September 17, 2017) Brown stands an athletic 6-foot-2, 180-pounds with a frame able to hold more weight as he physically matures. His delivery is up-tempo, high knee lift, hands high. Drives forward with straight direction, uses hip and shoulder separation, long stride with a quick long arm-action, evidence of above average external rotation flexibility. Fastball jumps peaking at 86 mph, fastball is best when he gets it to his opposite arm-side. Appears to use more of a slider type breaking ball, firm at 73-75 with tight spin, quick 11/5 shape. Changeup stays to the arm-side with gradual fade. Brown will be an interesting arm to follow closely this spring.
