Over 60 high-end prospects took the field showing off their skill-sets in front of our PBR NY scouting staff and nearly a dozen college coaches. As the smoke continues to clear, we are fast-at-work piecing together all the scouting data we collected more than three weeks prior. Today we highlight yet another player who's performance earns an extra look.

Eastern NY All-Star Games (September 17, 2017) Cabassa stands 6-foot-0, 180-pounds with an athletic appearance, solidly built. In the box he uses an open short stance, bat upright by chin with loose hands (bat waggle). On the pitch he uses a pronounced knee lift with long stride, hands load back after the stride, slight drop, barrel path is slightly uphill with full extension, signs of power to pull side (89 mph exit velocity). Defensively shows soft hands receiving, quick short transfer with a strong throwing arm (75 mph) behind the plate, a 2.03-2.07 pop time to the bag.
