WESTFIELD, IN—The second day of the 2016 PBR Future Games had a full slate of games and tons of highlights. In Friday's episode of the The Rode Show, we look at RHP 2019 RHP Michael Limoncelli (Horseheads HS, NY), 2018 OF Dillon Lifrieri (Wilton HS, CT) and 2018 RHP Nic Daniels (East Lake HS, FL).
Limoncelli was on the mound in the first game and sat 85-87 mph while mixing in a low-70s curveball with depth. He was a little wild, but showed high upside. After his appearance, he verbally committed to Pittsburgh. Lifrieri was a highlight from the workout day, thanks to his 100 mph exit velocity. That translated to game action as he hit two home runs in two games. Daniels sat 86-88 with feel for secondary stuff.
Be sure to check out our notebook with even more highlights from the second day.
