Progress Report: 2023 OF Michael Dinardo (Troy)

First Look Notes: February 17, 2021 | Preseason All-State Central | The wiry athletic 5-foot-10, 165-pounder flashed quick hands at the plate with natural plate coverage. Took a confident round of batting practice producing flush contact from gap to gap and an 89 mph bat-exit velocity. High contact approach with occasional doubles juice when getting the head out. Ran a sub-7.00 60-yard dash with above-average footspeed at 6.98 seconds. Has a chance to move around the outfield with a fluid, accurate throwing arm (82 mph). 

Recent Improvements: February 13, 2022 | Preseason All-State Hudson Valley | Arrived with better feel for his power stroke, driving the ball with regularity for distance. Had three swings over 300 feet, the furthest traveling 321 down the left field line. Extra intent at the plate in this look with the same explosive hands into the zone. Recorded a personal best 94 mph peak exit velocity and created additional backspin through the middle of the field. Improving his stock offensively and then turned in a blazing 6.77 60-yard dash, good enough to earn one of the top performances on the day.
