Recent Improvements: Jerez came back looking more physical in the build adding 15 lbs of muscle since last preseason. The added strength showed in the actions, especially in the field where he moved well while playing lower to the ground. The glove was soft fielding the ball in front with quick, clean transfers while keeping his momentum going through the throw. AT the plate the he switched up his timing simplifying the stride while the hands had rhythm pre-pitch resulting in consistent hard contact seeing his AVG Exit Velo go up from 79 to 88 MPH with a peak of 96 MPH.
Looking forward to seeing Jerez compete at the State Games this July.
