As the staff at PBR-New York is ready to embark on 2022, let's take a look at players that are ready to make that next jump during this year's Preseason All-State Tour.

PRESEASON ALL-STATE - HUDSON VALLEY

Ian Warren C / 1B / Highland , NY / 2023

What to expect: Lean athleticism from the catching position; short swing path with some bat speed attached (72.5 MPH peak via Blast Motion). Efficient transfer behind the plate.
What we'd like to see: Continued physical gains = increased power to the gaps. Aggressive in his footwork behind the plate and finishing off the throw.

Christian Walsh RHP / 3B / Guilderland , NY / 2025

What to expect: Long and lean RHP with a moderate arm stroke. Has shown fastball command in the past.
What we'd like to see: Additional momentum to the delivery; continued progress with his secondary offerings.

Landon Stichbury C / OF / John Jay - East Fishkill, NY / 2025

What to expect: On-plane swing path with some lift; compact setup behind the plate with consistent footwork and throwing actions.
What we'd like to see: Slightly shorter swing path to the point of contact; improved backspin on the throws to all for true carry.

Luke Nascimento C / 3B / Iona Prep, NY / 2023

Rankings StateRank: 32 / POS: 4

What to expect: Above average catch & throw tool. High contact/average approach with developing power. Will be one the best overall talents this preseason.
What we'd like to see: To work through the back of the baseball generating a little more backspin; can work down through contact at times. Power potential is there.

Paul Dulanto C / 3B / Massapequa , NY / 2024

Rankings StateRank: 27 / POS: 6

What to expect: Athletic 6-1 190lb RHH; controlled efforts in the box staying through contact. Solid defender.
What we'd like to see: Cleaner/quicker exchanges. Has a chance to be a front line catcher in the state for years to come.
