As the staff at PBR-New York is ready to embark on 2022, let's take a look at players that are ready to make that next jump during this year's Preseason All-State Tour.

Rankings StateRank: 28 / POS: 8

What to expect: High end offensive player in the '25 class; respectable runner. Compact, physical frame for his age at 5-foot-8 160lbs. Steady hands defensively.
What we'd like to see: Continues to develop arm strength; will open up defensive options. The bat will play.

Colin Spidal 3B / RHP / John F. Kennedy Prep, NY / 2024

What to expect: Repeats delivery; moderate arm stroke and around the zone with feel to CH. Averaged 18.4" of horizontal movement to his FB at 3/28/21 event. Short leg kick with direct swing path that stays in the zone.
What we'd like to see: Increased aggression through the zone at the plate; let the hands work out in front more defensively.

Hayden Tarsia RHP / 2B / John Jay - East Fishkill, NY / 2023

Rankings StateRank: 123 / POS: 29

What to expect: Lean, athletic build at 6-foot-0 160lbs with some effort to delivery. Fastball has shown late life (peak of 83 MPH) with a short action slider.
What we'd like to see: Continued development of secondary offerings; increased action to SL. Additional velocity will come with continued physical gains.

Joey Vollaro RHP / 3B / Beacon, NY / 2023

What to expect: Long legged/high waisted build with a shorter arm stroke. Low spin FB with some arm side action.Gets aggressive over the front side.
What we'd like to see: Mostly FB-CH back in October; would like to see development of breaking ball and continue to progress with the CH.
