Scouting Report   

Besko checks in at 5-foot-10; 165 pounds. Pitching- Besko sets up center rubber with a belt high leg drive to his balance point; closes off towards 3B line with stride; slight collapse on front side. Some trail off to the 1B side with finish. Arm action breaks at the belt; working through a high ¾ arm slot. FB sat 77-79 MPH (sat 79-81, touching  82 MPH  during outing in March). Battled around the zone; using CB (70-72 MPH) to work out of jams. Pitchability is there and showed the ability to work out of some tough spots by digging deep and throwing a quality pitch.

What to Expect

"Besko is a battler, even without his best stuff against a tough Capitol Region team during the NY Games he was able to work himself back into counts and get outs when needed. Breaking ball when on is enough to offset a FB that hovers on both sides of the 80 MPH mark. Arlington is no slouch in Section One AA competition, he's seen his fair share of quality opponents. Sleeper pick for sure."
