The primary right handed pitcher has seen some velocity gains in the past year now reaching back and touching 90mph the big framed right hander looks forward to an important summer. Not to be overlooked, Gianni shows the ability to drive the baseball. Registers a high hard hit percentage. Recorded a top exit velocity of 94mph this preseason, shows explosion through contact into his finish. On the bump is where Gianni turns heads. Exploding delivery, with the fastball jumping out of the hand and opportunities for swing and miss at the top of the zone. The 6-3, 200lb pitcher flashed the ability to spin the baseball with a curveball that shows depth. Projection is through the roof with a super fast arm and an explosive fastball. This summer will be huge in his development. As he makes his way to the NYS Games Session 1 in Cortland, NY on June 26th, Gianni should be on the majority of colleges coaches watch lists.
