The staff at PBR-New York is rolling out a new feature that highlights not only a player from the Empire State but puts them up against an out-of-state player with similar abilities, features and outlooks. 

Today we take a look at a pair of left-handed pitchers in the Class of 2021 in Johnathan Link of Trinity-Pawling (NY) and Brady Stevens of Sun Prarie HS (WI).

TALE OF THE TAPE

Physical Attributes 
Both players feature projectable frames, Link at 6-foot-3 190 pounds and Stevens at 6-foot-1 165 pounds. Long limbs, high waist features.

Actions

Both show controlled tempos and stay online with their delivery, working over firm front sides. Stevens arm slot is slightly lower and Link has a slight hook on his take back but both are within the standard 3/4 slot.

"Would love to see both players get more explosive on their way to the plate to help feed late arm acceleration. The physical build and arm actions both a can support the effort and should both add easy velocity down the road. High ceiling for both on the mound, as with most LHP the addition and confidence of the change up will directly effect their future successes on the mound."
