The Prep Baseball Nevada High School Player of the Week highlights the best performance for a Nevada High School player from the previous week.  Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week.  Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.

Our Week Eight 'Player of the Week' goes to '24 INF Brock Barlow (Uncommitted) out of SECTA as he batted .700 on the week with a pair of home runs and seven RBI.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: WEEK EIGHT

'24 INF BROCK BARLOW, SECTA (UNCOMMITTED)

STAT LINE (APRIL 21 - APRIL 27)

Hits: 7-for-10 (.700)
HR: 2
Doubles: 1
RBI: 7
Runs: 4

The uncommitted infielder was swinging the bat at a high level this past week in SECTA's two games against Legacy as he blasted a home run in both games. He drove in over 25% of the teams runs this past week as he went 7-for-10 with two HR, a double, seven RBI and four runs scored. SECTA dropped the first matchup 8-7 but came out strong in Game Two as they rebounded with a 17-7 win. With another quality offensive week from Barlow, he's now batting .442 on the season with five home runs, five doubles and 29 RBI.
