Las Vegas Top Prospect Games - Quick Hits (2026’s)

Brett Harrison
West Coast Supervisor

The Las Vegas Top Prospect Games kicked off an exciting Summer season with one of the most talented events in Prep Baseball Nevada's history. The depth of talent has forced us to break up our Quick Hits feature by Class to make sure we all players to receive proper recognition. At the two day Las Vegas Top Prospect Games, players received an unrivaled amount of data, including, Swift Performance Athletic Testing, Vizual Edge Analysis, TrackMan Analyzed Batting Practice Sessions, Blast Motion Analyzed Batting Practice Sessions, TrackMan Analyzed Pitcher Evaluations and Prep Baseball Verified Height / Weight / Grip Strength Testing. This event allowed players to show their developed skill through objective data collection, followed by Live Game Play to allow for in-game action to also be tracked and highlighted.

Quick Hits - 2026 Prospects

+ Shawn Mack, 1B/RHP - The 6-foot-5, 192 pound two-way has proven before that he could be a legitimate two-way type player at the next level and continued to prove that at the Las Vegas Top Prospect Games. Producing one of the event's top batting practice sessions, Mack has produced a Max Exit Velocity of 99.8 mph with more power to come as he fills out his frame. Coming from Olympic Gold Medal bloodlines, the upside on the mound is significant, with a loose arm that has shown flashes of advanced stuff with his fastball reaching up to 89 mph with life earlier this year. Expect Mack to be one of the most sought after prospects on August 1 after he represents Nevada at the 2024 Future Games.

+ Lincoln Evans, 2026 RHP - One of the highest risers in Nevada's 2026 Class the past 6 months, Evan's was seemingly the go to arm for Basic this past Spring. Evan's impressed during the Batting Practice Session on Day 1 of the Las Vegas Top Prospect Games, but shined on the mound where he cruised at 84-86 mph with 17.4 inches of Induced Vertical Break along with 15.4 inches of Horizontal Movement. The breaking ball tunnels well off his fastball, but his changeup seems to be his go-to pitch, throwing it with conviction and running it with 13.1 inches of Horizontal Movement.

+ Randall Riley, 2026 C/UT - The Swiss Army Knife type player has proven he could hold down any position during the High School Season. His present athleticism shines through behind the plate with a flexible set up and present strength in his hands to receive velo with relative ease, helping him earn one of the event's Top Catcher Pop Times (1.90) and the Top Catcher Velocity (82 mph). The defensive tools are impressive, but this is a bat you have to keep in your lineup as he doubled off the left field wall during the Live Game Play after producing a 99.8 mph TrackMan Exit Velocity during the Pro-Style Workout on Day 1. Keep Riley on your radar as a player to follow this Summer and he will be representing Nevada at the 2024 Future Games.

+ Jack Stoner, 2026 RHP - Stoner's stock continues to rise as he heads into the Summer with a loose, whippy arm that has flashed high level stuff with present downhill and arm side action on his fastball. Up to multiple 88's earlier this Spring, he found his cruising speed at 86 mph at the Las Vegas Top Prospect Games with his changeup proving to be his go-to strike out pitch that worked well off his fastball. This is a prospect that is just scratching the surface of what is to come with the present and projectable features to potentially make him one of the state's top arms.

+ Chase Wilk, 2026 1B/OF - The 2023 Future Games alum is set to return in 2024 as one of Nevada's top first basemen, where he has continued to prove his ability around the bag, but his bat is what separates him. His tools at the plate have continued to trend over the last year with almost every offensive metric improving during the Day 1 Pro-Style Workout, earning new bests in TrackMan Exit Velocity (98.7 mph), Hand Speed (22.6 mph), Bat Speed (76.3 mph) and Rotational Acceleration (13.30. The power is already shining through and we expect him to be an exciting bat to follow this summer.

___________________

+ Mickey Martinez, 2026 RHP/IF - The long, lean right-hander was part of the two-headed monster at the top of the Las Vegas rotation this past Spring. Martinez still is heavily reliant on his athleticism in his delivery, leading you to believe that their is a few mph available immediately once he get his lower half more involved. The clean, loose arm action with present feel for his breaking ball make him a definite follow during the 2024 Summer as a high ceiling arm with much more to come.

___________________

+ Lucas Pettingill, 2026 RHP/OF - The Moapa Valley product had himself an event, showing off impressive bat to ball skills with one of the top Batting Practice Sessions of the Las Vegas Top Prospect Games, earning a 100.4 mph TrackMan Exit Velocity and the Top Average Exit Velocity at 97.3 mph. Pettingill will be a player to have on your radar this Summer as potential early impact type bat.

___________________

+ Noah McConnell, 2026 RHP/OF - The Class 1A Liberty Baptist product announced his Las Vegas Top Prospect Games where he flashed present tools on both sides of the ball. Flashing his present power tool at the plate with a 100.6 mph TrackMan Exit Velocity, McConnell shined on the mound where he ran it up to 87.6 mph with life to go along with a developing secondary mix that induced multiple strikeouts. Keep McConnell on your radar as a player that looks to continue making big jumps this Summer.

___________________

+ Hudson Ciulla, 2026 RHP - The right-hander comes in a compact frame, but packs a punch on the mound. His 87.5 mph Fastball Velocity ranked him in the Top 5 of the Las Vegas Top Prospect Games with his slider spinning at a new personal best of 2462. Ciulla commands the zone with the ability to throw each of his pitches for strikes. This Bishop Gorman product continues to ascend as one of the top arms to follow in Nevada's 2026 Class.

___________________

+ Luke Stringer, 2026 C - The Faith Lutheran product quietly had one of the top performances at the event, showing off improved tools on both sides of the ball, but especially on the offensive side with a TrackMan Exit Velocity of 98.2 mph and a 92.0 mph Average Exit Velocity. Behind the plate, he registered the second best Catcher Velocity at 77 mph with his improved receiving present during the Live Game Play portion on Day 2.

___________________

+ Darren McGee, 2026 IF - Arguably one of the top overall athletes of the event, McGee plays with bounce throughout his game. His power potential has now transitioned into present power with his TrackMan Exit Velocity of 100.1 mph and an Average Exit Velocity of 93.6 mph. The hand and bat speed allows McGee to handle velocity with little issue, making him a high follow type player heading into his incoming Junior Summer.
