The Under the Radar, 6’5 righthander cruises through his 4.0 IP, sitting 86-88 mph up to 90.6 with much more projected to come to go with this slider that proved effective throughout #BeSeen@ShooterHunt |… pic.twitter.com/Gtif6Ze50T
+ Asa Briggs, 2025 RHP/1B - The 6-foot-5 right hander stood tall through his 4.0 innings pitched, striking out 5 with his mostly fastball/curveball mix that kept hitters off balance. Working exclusively out of hte stretch, his velocity maintained throughout with a steady 86-88 with a 90.6 bumped once when he needed to reach back. The low effort delivery and long, lean frame leads you to believe that Briggs is just starting to scratch the surface of what is to come over the next few months as he ascends to becoming one of the more projectable arms in the State. We expect this prospect to be on more than a few radars this Summer and a commitment may not be far behind.

One of Nevada’s top Uncommitted bats continues his hot Spring where he is hitting .486 with this double to CF that bringing in the tying run for the Lions #BeSeen@prepbaseball | @ShooterHunt pic.twitter.com/rGFZsRy8jg
+ Jayson Schmeisser, 2024 OF - Schmeisser has continued his huge Spring at the plate, hitting .486 on the year, living in the big part of the yard with loud, consistent barrels and continued to do so in yesterday's contest with a clutch RBI single to CF that tied up the game for the Lions. The Las Vegas Preseason ID standout has the present tools that will translate to the next level and the in-game has followed suit with his bat playing a key role in the success of the Sierra Vista season and looks like it will stay that way as we head into the home stretch.

+ Mark Hyde, 2024 RHP - The senior put together a standout effort on the bump for Sierra Vista, striking out 3 over his 7.0 complete game effort. Hyde pitched to contact throughout his outing and continued to produce weak contact in his efficient innings where he achieved a 68.4% strike percentage with his mostly fastball/curveball mix.

The Uncommitted Junior opens up the scoring in the top of the 1st with this RBI single lined to LF as the Roadrunners go up 1-0 after 1 #BeSeen@prepbaseball | @B_HarrisonPBR pic.twitter.com/TnurI0oGCZ
+ Nathan Johnson, 2025 C - The junior backstop added two hits for the Roadrunners in yesterday's Class 4A matchup where in his first at-bat, he singled in the first run of the game to give SECTA an early lead. Defensively, he flashed advanced feel behind the plate with feel for his receiving and the ability to "steal" pitches around the zone. The flexibility in his set up allowed him to handle velocity down in the zone to go with present actions in his catch and throw. Keep an eye on Johnson as a potential backstop that could make a significant jump in the next year.
