Class of 2026 Rankings: Update

Brett Harrison
West Coast Supervisor

As the fall comes to a close, the PBR Nevada and National staff is set to update all of our class rankings for one final time in 2023 with the Class of 2026. After multiple events this Fall, and being able to see live game play, the Nevada staff was able to make subtle changes while adding some new additions to the list.

As always the ranking process is a fluid and ongoing process, in which players are evaluated on multiple occasions, whether it be at an event or on the playing field at a local tournament. All players on this Top-35 list are well deserving and have a bright future ahead. The players at the top of the list have separated themselves from the rest, and proven they belong where they will be heading. Most of these prospects are very tough to compare, and through the entire Top-40, the players are merely interchangeable, including some of those that have been left out.

The Top 10

Rookie Shepard SS / 2B / Faith Lutheran , NV / 2026

The Miami commit has continued to impress throuhgout his Summer and Fall seasons with elite level athleticism and actions consistently on display each time he takes the field. Shepard has already put himself on the shortlist to be invited to the PBR West ProCase, a precursor to the Prep Baseballl All-American Game. A standout at any position you put him at defensively, a threat at the plate and on the basepaths, this is a prospect that has proven his ability to do it all and looks to continue doing so heading into his sophomore campaign at Faith Lutheran.

Andruw Giles OF / LHP / Basic, NV / 2026

The sweet swinging lefty has continued to prove himself not only as a top prospect in Nevada, but one of the top prospects in the country as his stock has continued to rise throughout a successful Summer and Fall campaign. Giles is another 2026 Nevada prospect whose name can be found on the shortlist for the upcoming PBR West ProCase set to take place this coming June. A Texas A&M commit, this a prospect that pro scouts will be writing down (if they haven't already) this Spring as a player to know.

Troy Southisene OF / Coral Academy, NV / 2026

The fourth member of the Southisene Army, Troy announced his presence at the 2023 PBR Nevada State Games and carried that into his standout performances at the 2023 Future Games. At the Future Games, he proved his ability to handle any position on the field with the most comfort shown at shortstop where he showcased his ability to range laterally with feel for the play outside of his feet. This is a player that we would have expected to be off the board with previous NCAA Recruitment Rules, but with August 1 going to be here before we know it, expect Southisene to be one of the first Nevada prospects off the board.

Macen Collura SS / RHP / Faith Lutheran, NV / 2026

After having to sit out his freshman year, Collura didn't skip a beat at the 2023 PBR Nevada State Games where he produced a dominant performance on the mound, then went big fly with a no doubt shot over the left field wall earning his nod to represent Nevada at the 2023 Future Games. He carried his successful Summer campaign into the Future Games where he showed out offensively with a number of loud barrels and, along with Southisene, is expected to be one of the first prospects off the board after August 1.

Kingston Kela 3B / RHP / Faith Lutheran, NV / 2026

The Texas A&M commit has continued to prove that he is one of the top overall prospects in Nevada's 2026 Class with present, advanced actions on both sides of the ball. His long, lean frame allows for a ton of projection for what is to come with each part of his game and stock expected to continue to rise this Spring and into next Summer.

Lyndon Lee SS / 2B / Basic Academy , NV / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 6 / POS: 3

No one may have seen their stock rise more at the 2023 Future Games than Lyndon Lee. The developing frame and present advanced actions on both sides of the ball will put him on more than a few college program's radars heading into his sophomore Spring season and into a significant Summer campaign that should see Lee coming out of with more than a few interested collegeiate programs.

Braylon Kolish RHP / OF / Green Valley, NV / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 7 / POS: 1

Used as a key arm in the Green Valley rotation as a freshman, Kolish earned his spot at the Game 1 starter for Team Nevada at the 2023 Future Games and held his own amongst the top Uncommitted players in the country, allowing 1 run over his three innings pitches while running it up to 87.5 mph with present life on his fastball. The developing secondary mix has continued to show progress flashing heaviness with arm side life on his changeup and tighter sweeping actions on his slider.

Kane Barber LHP / OF / Centennial, NV / 2026

 Rankings  StateRank: 8 / POS: 1

The left-hander had himself a massive freshman campaign for Centennial, going back-to-back complete game shutouts to start his high school career and continued to produce quality starts throughout his freshman year for the Bulldogs. This standout year earned him his spot to represent Nevada at the 2023 Future Games. Barber's understanding of how to stay within his game on the mound has allowed him to use his present pitchabilty to produce effective outing each time his toes the rubber with velocity expected to come as he continues to fill out and develop physically.

Evan Noble 2B / SS / Shadow Ridge/NW Career Tech, NV / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 9 / POS: 1

The Houston commit has continued to prove himself as one of the top bats in Nevada's 2026 Class with present power coming from his 5-foot-9, 165 pound frame. Noble's power was on full display at the 2023 Nevada State Games where he posted one of the events Top TrackMan Exit Velocities at 98.2 mph, earning him the 2026 Class's Top Exit Velocity of the Year. Coming off of a successful Summer season, he is expected to have a huge sophomore campaign for Shadow Ridge.

Chase Wilk 1B / OF / Bishop Gorman, NV / 2026

Rankings StateRank: 10 / POS: 1

The newest member of the Top 10 in Nevada's Class of 2026 rankings update. Wilk has proven himself among the top bats in that state, especially with his power potential now transitioning into present power over the past few months with his Prep Baseball Verified 96.0 mph TrackMan Exit Velocity expected to be surpassed at the upcoming Las Vegas Preseason ID.
