This year, the event saw an unprecedented attendance of 425 college coaches, solidifying its status as the nation's leading uncommitted showcase.

This year's Future Games featured the deepest pitching staff ever taken from the Silver State and today, we highlight the standout 2026 position players that made an immediate impression at the 2024 Future Games.

2024 Future Games: 2026 Position Players

Andruw Giles OF / LHP / Basic Academy, NV / 2026

Giles came into the 2024 Future Games as one of the top players in the country and proved exactly with his game one full display, starting with the Day 1 Workout where he put together a massive performance with both his TrackMan Exit Velocity (103.7 mph) and his Outfield Velocity (92 mph) registering in the Top 10 of the entire event. With QAB’s throuhgout the week with multiple 90+ mph barrels and nothing in to show for it, when he finally broke through vs. Arizona with a 98.1 mph double to right-centerfield. Likely to be one of the first Nevada prospects off the board, Nevada’s #2 ranked 2026 played like he had something to prove with automatic hustle out of the box every at-bat, setting the tone for the rest of the group. Whoever lands this one is landing a game-changer who plays the game the right way and could likely hear his name called a few July’s from now.

Troy Southisene OF / SS / Basic Academy of Int'l Studies HS, NV / 2026

The last member of the Southisene Army, who have been a staple on the Team Nevada Future Games roster over the past 4 years, put together another standout performance at the 2024 Future Games. Though Southisene can put up number in the showcase portion of the event, but his game shines during the live game play with his commanding presence in the middle of the field with advance instincts and the lateral range go with it. At the plate, his gritty approach paired with his ability to drive the ball to all fields make him one of Nevada’s’ premium bats, regardless of class. His breakout game against a talented Arizona pitching staff saw him single to right field, stealing second, then added an opposite field double in his second at-bat, stealing third shortly after helping him earn Dick’s Sporting Goods Player of the Game. Southisene is expected to be off the board very quickly with the 2026 Class Recruiting now open.

Chase Wilk 1B / OF / Bishop Gorman, NV / 2026

The two-time Future Gamer has seen his game continue to trend on both sides of the ball with an improved approach at the plate to go along with his improved feel around and off the bag at first base, proven with a key diving play in Game 2 vs. Team Select to prevent an extended inning. His ability on the offensive side seem to have paralleled his physical growth, now 6’2/206, as he produced a number of barrels throuhgout the weekend with an 0-2 breaking ball line up the middle in Game 1 vs. California and a pair of loud barrels in Game 3 vs. Arizona, one of them being a standup double that one hopped the left-centerfield wall. Wilk has steadily proven himself to be one of the top 2026 bats in Nevada with much more expected to come in the near future.

Lyndon Lee SS / 2B / Basic Academy of Int'l Studies HS, NV / 2026

The oldest of the up and coming Lee Army, Lyndon is the definition of a gamer. He is not a guy who will blow you away from the numbers put up on the Day 1 Workout, but may be the least surprising player to earn the Dick’s Sporting Good Player of the Game award, which he did against a talented Team Select where he racked up massive day, going 2 for 3 with a double, 3 stolen bases and 3 runs. His ability to consistently impact a game is a rare feature, where he is able to figure out a way to get on base, steal a base and score, while doing it all quietly proves that he is a player that will be able to help a lot for teams win ballgames. This is a fearless player that will make an early impact for a whoever is lucky enough to land him in the near future.

Macen Collura SS / RHP / Faith Lutheran, NV / 2026

The two-way shined during the Day 1 Workout earning the event’s second best Infield Velocity at 93 mph and seemed to get settled in more and more at the plate as the event progressed. At 6’/170, their still plenty of room to fill out his frame with his present tools expected to be even more amplified, especially on the offensive side of the ball where he has already flashed present power and still seems to have room for much more. The athleticism paired with the present tools and significant upside makes it not surprise that he is the first Team Nevada prospect off the board with his commitment to Arizona State University.

Jhett Ohira SS / OF / Bishop Gorman, NV / 2026

Ohira has steadily ascended into one of Nevada’s top overall prospect and could also be argued as one of the top overall athletes with present tools on display throuhgout his game at the 2024 Future Games. Finding himself near the top of almost every statistical category that applied to him from the Day 1 Workout, his present tools translated well to the in-game portion of the event with quality at-bats produced throughout that included a 96 mph Exit Velocity in Game 1 with nothing to show for it and a hustle double against Arizona that helped lead Nevada to a Game 3 win. Expect Ohira to have his breakout Spring for Bishop Gorman this upcoming Spring with his complete game taking shape and just now scratching the surface of what is to come.

Logan Green OF / RHP / Galena High School, NV / 2026

An under the radar prospect who proved he could perform on the national stage, Green was a later add to Team Nevada and put together one of the best overall performances of the week for the Silver State squad. Starting with the Day 1 Workout, he found himself near the top of almost every statistical category that applied to him: TrackMan Exit Velocity - 98.6 mph (2), Outfield Velocity - 87 mph (2), Swift 60 Time - 6.73 (2). To capitalize on his Day 1 performance, Green had his breakout game against Team Select where he registered Team Nevada’s hardest in-game Exit Velocity with his 101.1 mph double to left-centerfield, then added a 98.1 mph line out in his next at-bat. Keep an eye on Green as a player who could make a massive impact in his first year with Galena and make his way up the 2026 Class Rankings.

Randall Riley III C / SS / Basic Academy of Int'l Studies HS, NV / 2026

Though he primarily caught for Team Nevada, Riley is a Swiss Army Knife type player with the ability to hold down just about any position on the field effectively. Both behind the plate and at the plate, he quietly produced an outstanding event with a pair of key line drive singles in Game 2 and Game 3 while also gunning down a Team Select runner in Game 2 that helped shut down a potentially big inning. Another gritty type player that has shown his sneaky pop, especially to the pull side, leads you to believe that there is much more coming as he continues to fill out his developing frame. This is another player that will help you win games with the small things he routinely does throuhgout each game and we expect him to continue to do so at the next level.
