While some still hold dear to the belief that all great baseball players need to “fill out the uniform” and look the part of an Adonis on the diamond, it has rarely held true as a rule. The fact is, baseball is an Everyman sport, and as MLB clubs continue to search for undervalued talent, the game continues to evolve with all shapes and sizes taking the field. It is part of the reason that makes baseball the greatest game on Earth. Recent years, and the performance of such players, have raised the value of those who were once deemed undersized, and it has been seen at all levels.
