Scouting Report:

Bagley was identified for Future Games after a really strong Sophomore campaign. He hit over .400 with 14 BB and an impressive 22 HBP. He was an on base machine for the Ironmen. In the leadoff Bagley did everything asked and some. Scored 34 runs, picked up 29 hits and drove in 19. On the defensive side of things Bagley is a catcher by trade but has the ability to play middle infield and any outfield position. What are you getting on defense? High IQ, accurate/strong arm, and good instincts. I really like Bagley behind the plate. Has soft hands, steals strikes, gets to the knees quickly with ability to keep the ball in front.

With the new rules in place nobody has been able to reach out to the uncommitted ‘26. He most definitely gained interest after the spring he had but what Bagley did at the 2024 Future Games was special. The LHH went 4 for 6 with 2 2B, HR, 2 BB, 2 RBI, and 3 R. During BP he had a repeatable line drive swing. In the game he was consistently on time. The foot gets to the ground. Hands continue to load. Strong coil with the hands. Turns inside the ball, hands pull inside well. Connected swing. It’s  hit over power right now but with the bat to ball profile and accuracy with the barrel. Bagley could be a double digit home run guy in the future.

His performance this week at the Future Games definitely caused him to gain some new followers. Should be interesting to see where Bagley commits. Really bright future.
