Team Preview: '26 New Jersey

It's that time of year again where every state shows up to Emerson, GA to showoff its uncommitted talent. This year Team NJ has a lot of talent from power bats, plus defenders, 2 projectable left handers, and some right handers that have multiple pitch mixes. Whats nice is alot of the arms have upside. Please take a look at our schedule/pitching rotations and roster breakdown below.

On the Mound:

LHP -

Danny Ditullio (Christian Brothers Academy)

The left hander stands at 6’3/6’4ish and weighs 200 pounds. This spring Ditullio was Mr.reliable. Turned in quality start after quality start. Moves athletic. Lands a breaking ball for a strike. FB currently is 83-86.

Danny Pardini (Christian Brothers Academy)

The NJ Top Prospect Game standout will take the mound with a low to mid 80s FB. His best pitch is his CB in which he throws it 73-74 with 2400 spin. Really athletic build.

RHP -

Nate Bott (Kingsway)

Bott pitched meaningful innings for Kingsway this spring. He was a standout performer at the NJ Top Prospect Games where he showcased a FB in the 85-87 range. CH 79-80. CB 73-76. Bott throws from a lower slot. His FB has run and cut. Strike thrower.

Alex Weingartner (St Augustine Prep)

Weingartner is a regarded recruit in the recruiting space. His FB is already into the high 80’s low 90’s. Has a SL and CH to go along with his firm FB. It's an OTT operation. You will see Weingartner for one inning due to him being a two-way in this event.

Henry Pancoast (Gloucester Catholic)

Strong frame at 6’3. Pancoast is currently a two way. You'll see him showcasing his skills also in the OF. I think he has the chance to be really special on the mound. The FB is 87-88 with glimpses of 89-90. Has control and a SL 77-80.

JJ Drennan (Seton Hall Prep)

Drennan is a free and easy mover. Fills the zone up with strikes. Have seen the FB up to 90 but mostly pitches at 86-87. Breaking ball is in the mid 70s as well as a CH. Strong build has upside.

Ethan Lee (Don Bosco Prep)

Lee is as athletic as they come. Arm speed present. The fastball is 89-92 with ride and cut. Nothing is straight. Has a sharp SL. Sinker and SPL to go along with.

Andrew Valay (GCIT)

Big projectable frame at 6’5. Nothing is straight. The FB plays up because of the ride. Valay also throws a CUT and a breaking ball. Cutter is his best pitch.

Dean Kaletcher (Morris Knolls)

Kalecther pitched a lot of meaningful innings this spring for Morris Knolls. It's breaking ball over velo. With upside for the fastball to tick up. The SL is sharp and lands for strikes.

Daniel Passalacqua (Bishop Eustace)

Athletic mover that can really spin it.

Aiden Ogando (St Joes Montvale)

Athletic frame with upside mostly pitches 85-86 with cut. M2C.

Christopher Marano (Depaul Catholic)

Really nice arm swing. SL is sharp. Big time arm potential. FB is usually 87-91.

Jimmy Gallagher (Williamstown)

Projectable. Has arm strength. L slot with ride.

Catchers:

Chase Bagley (Don Bosco Prep)

On base machine. Leadoff/table setter type hitter. Short path that matches plane.

Braeden Lipoff (Gloucester Catholic)

Brute strength. Raw power. Catch and throw present. Arm strength. August 1 should be a fun day for Lipoff.

Alex D’Angelo (Ridgewood)

Strong swing. Has tons of bat speed.

Ryan Mccabe (St Joes Montvale)

Big physical kid. Raw power. Hit in the middle of the order this spring.

Carney O’Donnell (Jackson Liberty)

Catch and throw is his strength. Projectable frame.

Infielders:

Mason Wilson (Randolph)

'23 Future Games standout. Plus runner. Bat speed and good approach. Actions that can stay in the middle of the field.

JC Pacheco (Depaul Catholic)

Strong LHH swing. Homered 9x this spring.

Aiden Ogando (St Joes Montvale)

Shane Hoover  (Sparta)

Sleeper pick. So athletic. All of 6'3. Smooth LHH stroke. More strength incoming.

Guy Lynam (Gloucester Catholic)

'23 Future Game standout and a top ranked player in the state. Plus hit tool. Arm strength present.

Alex Weingartner (St. Augustine Prep)

Pullside swing. Has a good approach. Staple in the middle of the order for the Hermits this spring.

Outfielders:

Matthew Tafuri (Delbarton)

Athlete. Plus run. Hit leadoff for Delbarton.

Mason Myers (Paul VI)

Seems to be tapping into his power this summer. Really interesting athlete.
