Top Position Players Coming To Future Games
July 13, 2022
In just two weeks, a few hundred college coaches will descend on LakePoint in Georgia to see several hundred of the top uncommitted sophomores and juniors in the country. To prepare for the best recruiting event of the year, The Hotlist looks at some of the top position players who will be at the 2022 Future Games.
Nathan Arterbridge, C, St. George’s Technical HS, DE (2024)
Arterbridge has consistently trended up since his freshman year and cemented his Future Games invite after a breakout performance at this year’s PBR Virginia Top Prospect Games in June. The physical 6-foot-1, 190-pound backstop consistently showcases strength to the pull side, creating lift and backspin to the gaps and alleys with ease. The hands work quickly through contact with explosive bat speed, registering a 76.7 max bat speed and 103.7 max exit velocity at the Top Prospect Games. Behind the dish, the feet work quickly with fluid actions, showcasing the ability to gain ground well on throws to the bag. The arm strength is present, registering 80 mph from the crouch with 1.93-2.02 pop times.
