Game 2 Recap: NJ Takes Tough Loss to MA

Team New Jersey suffered a tough loss to Team Massachusetts in the second game of the 2019 Future Games, 5-3.
Offensively, the squad was led by 2021 C David Zamora (Hamiton West HS, NJ) - with a loud 2-run double in the RCF gap.
2022 SS Christopher Maldonado (Seton Hall Prep HS, NJ) continued to impress offensively. Two loud, long fly ball outs to CF and RF respectively - after a head-turning workout day. Scouts and coaches were locked in on Maldonado's at bats all day.
Other key offensive contributors were 2022 INF Connor Dreyer (Delbarton HS, NJ) with a clean single; 2021 C Justin Kilyk (Raritan HS, NJ) lined a single to LF.
Arms
2021 RHP David Hagaman (Cedar Creek HS, NJ) was 85-87 touching 88 in his two innings of work. Hagaman's lanky, athletic frame at 6-foot-4 195-pounds and clean, easy arm made him a player to watch throughout the event. Hagaman punched out the side in the first inning, utilitizing a sharp, late slider at 75-77 with 11/5 action.
2021 RHP Ryan Rumsey (Paul VI HS, NJ) was consitiently 86-88 in his two innings of work. Flashed a smaller, gradual 10/4 curveball at 70-72 and mixed in a changeup with ASR at 71-73. Rumsey pounded the lower half of the zone from a high-3/4 slot.
David Zamora closed the game out in an inning of work. Fastball showed some late life at 82-84 and spun a slider at 69-72 MPH with 11/5 depth.
