Diamond Notes is our new segment that will highlight the players that had outstanding statistical weeks, but didn't quite make the cut for overall Player of the Week. Below are some players that exemplified high individual performances from the first week of the season.

Langevin opened up the season by pitching a complete game vs. Dublin Jerome HS (OH). Passaic Valley won the game 5-0. Langevin gave up only 2 hits while striking out 8 and walking only 1 and only threw 85 pitches for 7 innings. Langevin pitched later in the week against West Milford and lasted 6 innings while throwing 104 pitches with only 4 hits while striking out 7 and 0 walks.
