Position Prospects
Harold Coll SS / Cathedral, MA / 2020Enter Analysis HereReport: 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Continues to flash above average defensive skills, throwing 91 mph across the diamond with an easy arm action. The foot work is solid and he moves laterally well. The ability to stay at shortstop is present. The foot speed is 7.05 and will hover around the 7.0 mark as he makes his way through college. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 92. The set up is wide in base, uses a knee to knee approach as the ball enters the hitting zone. The hands are clean and fluid through contact, gap to gap guy at the present time. |
Julian Uejima SS / 2B / Trinity-Pawling, NY / 2020Report: 5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 6.93 sixty on the laser at the event. The glove is solid and he moves well to and through the ball. Threw 84 mph across the diamond as he profiles as an offensive second baseman in pro ball The hands are quick with the glove and he can handle the pivot with ease. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 93 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot steps into contact. The path is excellent to the ball and he accelerates the hands through the ball. Displayed the ability to spread the field in batting practice and should hit for minimal power as he matures. |
