Updated Class of 2026 Player Rankings (September)

Throughout the summer we were all over the state, scouting numerous prospects and seeing many new names came to the forefront of the recruiting scene. With that information, we are updating each of our class rankings based off what we have seen. Next up is the Class of 20265.

As school gets underway and the fall sports season kicks off, we will take a look at "What's New at the Top", "Notable Newcomers”, "Risers", "Summer Showcase Standouts", "Prospects College Coaches Need To Circle Back To " and a look some of the top uncommitted prospects by position, and a close look at the Top 10.

What’s New In The Top 10

  • Brody Bumila anchors the class of 2026 as the #1 prospect in New England. The left-hander has been up to 96 mph. He was with Team USA this past summer.
  • Bryce Hill, the Stanford commit is the #2 ranked player in New England. The right-hander is the real deal on the bump.
  • The #3 ranked player is Quincy Bright, Mississippi State commit. The left-hander has electric stuff.
  • The #4 ranked player in New England Morrie Fried. He is a big, physical right-handed hitting corner infielder. The strength in the bat is the separator. It's not hard to imagine, the more at bats he gets as he matures, the more dangerous the bat will become. 

Notable Newcomers

  • Jett Little, right-hander, pitches in the low 90’s and the projection is trending up.
  • Ryan Ruggiero, left-handed hitting outfielder. He has a really good feel for the bat and is a plus runner and defender.  
  • Alexander Cantwell, left-handed hitting catcher. Showed very well in Georgia for Team Mass. The bat has strength and he showed the ability to handle top level pitching.
  • Ryan Kelly, right-hander out of Milton HS, the arm is clean and the velocity is growing.
  • Brett Gallo, big right-handed hitting catcher. Solid catch and throw skill set. Showed well with the bat in Georgia.  
  • Sam Clark, left-handed hitting catcher. Showed well at LakePoint, the bat has life and he is an athletic catcher.
  • Roger Hill, a right-handed pitcher, mid 80’s fastball, with quality spin rates on all pitches.
  • Nolan Plourde, a right-handed pitcher, strong athletic, durable frame, with tons of projection, power arm down the road.
  • Matthew Defilippo, a right-handed pitcher, upper 80’s fatball, with electric stuff, is headed to Boston College. 

Risers

  • Ryan Moreschi, right-handed hitting outfielder. Had a great week in Georgia, can really hit. He is a plus runner and can defend in all 3 spots in the outfield
  • Chase Edgar, right-handed pitcher with a 3 pitch mix. The arm is clean, fast and he pounds the zone with all 3 pitches. 
  • Nolan Rappoli, played great in Georgia. The instincts for the game are through the roof. He swung the bat very well and can really play defense.
  • Matt Blanusa, right-handed pitcher who continues to improve his stock. The arm is clean and fast. 
  • Tucker Cali, right-handed hitting corner infielder, can defend and has juice in the bat.
  • Logan Our, left-handed hitting outfielder, really good defender with life in the bat from the left-side.  
  • Carson Rylander, right-handed pitcher. Improved his stock in Georgia. The slot is low ¾ and he shows an above average feel for the spin pitch.
  • Vincent Lombado, a super athletic outfielder, who can really swing, committed to Uconn, made a significant jump.
  • Camden Ogden, made big strides, upper 80’s fastball, with swing and miss breaking stuff.
  • Jacob Felton, a power arm from the right-side, showed well at the future games. 

Summer Showcase Standouts

  • Nicholas Rinaldi, left-handed hitting first baseman who got hurt towards the tail end of the summer. The bat has plus life and he shows plus power potential
  • Matthew Griffin, quick armed right-handed pitcher who threw excellent at the Boston College event in June.
  • James Rabuse, continues to impress. On the mound, the fastball sits upper 80’s and he showed a plus slider. The bat has plus life as well.
  • Lucas Tanous, a twitchy outfielder, can run, life in the bat, showed tons of energy at the future games.  
  • Matthew Shea, a reclass right-handed pitcher, continues to pitch at a high level, had an outstanding high school season, and showed well again at the future games.
  • Rocco DeMaio III, plays the game extremely fast, twitchy athlete on both sides of the field.

College Coaches Need To Circle Back To

  • Nicholas Rinaldi, big, athletic left-handed hitting first baseman, who swings the bat with authority.
  • Lowell Golub, athletic right-handed pitcher. He has plus arm speed and stuff.
  • Ryan Kelly, quick armed right-hander everyone should be seeing pitch.
  • Teddy Stephenson, athletic right-handed hitting infielder from Maine. The bat has life and he is super athletic.  
  • Leo Meuse, big right-handed pitcher with good feel for pitching.
  • Jack Treat, left-handed hitting first baseman with a plus feel for hitting.
  • Colby Bryant, a right-handed hitting infielder, has a serious feel for the game on both sides of the field.
  • Cael Loria, an athletic middle infielder, can play all over the field.
  • Aaron Rich, a super athletic outfielder, is going to make a huge jump at some point.
  • Brayden Edwards, a two-way player, runs hits and throws. 

TOP UNCOMMITTED PROSPECTS BY POSITION

Below we look to name the top 5 prospects in specific categories based on primary position in profile for the 2026 class rankings. Beyond this group, there are numerous prospects that can help a collegiate program in some capacity.
