Updated Class of 2025 Player Rankings (November)

Throughout the summer we were all over the state, scouting numerous prospects and seeing many new names came to the forefront of the recruiting scene. With that information, we are updating each of our class rankings based off what we have seen. We start with the Class of 2025.

As school gets underway and the fall sports season kicks off, we will take a look at "What's New at the Top", "Notable Newcomers”, "Summer Showcase Standouts", "Prospects College Coaches Need To Circle Back To " and a look some of the top uncommitted prospects by position, and a close look at the Top 10.

Who Is At The Top

• Matthew McDowell, the top ranked player in New England, leverage and plus ability at the plate and on the mound.
• John Paone, 2nd ranked player in New England, big right-hander with plus stuff.
• Garrett Snyder, 3rd ranked player in New England. The frame is big and durable and he shows a power fastball and breaking ball.
• Daniel Margolies, 4th in the rankings, quick armed left-hander with plus stuff and ability
• Cole Raymond, 5th in the rankings, big long right-hander with plus stuff and projectability.

The Riser

• Bennett Crerar, athletic middle infielder who continues to impress and improve his game. 
• Danny Flynn, ultra talented left-handed hitting outfielder. He should make an impact immediately in college. 
• Anakin Underhill, talented right-handed with a big upside on the bump.
• Dean Gobeil, left-handed hitting utility player. He runs, swings the bat and can play multiple spots on the field. 
• Austin Howard, excellent looking arm out of Connecticut. Big upside and stuff. 

Sleepers To Watch This Spring

• Tyler Dunlea, recovering from TJ, and we should see his stuff improve immensely in the coming months.
• Jackson Morse, excellent young middle infielder with a plus feel for the bat.
• Miles Blake, good looking quick armed left-hander with the makings of a plus slider.
• Luke Maltacea, continuously improving right-handed hitting catcher.
• Owen Rich, shows tremendous tool, hits, runs and throws.

Uncommitted Names To Note

• Brendan Horne, middle infielder, recently decommitted from Vanderbilt. Athletic and quick twitch player.
• Will Shaheen, athletic infielder with a plus feel for the game. Recently decommitted from Georgetown
• Grant McCubrey, athletic right-hander, recently decommitted from Vanderbilt. Highly skilled arm.
• Conor Lytle, athletic infielder out of Connecticut with a good feel for the game.
• Cole Mullen, right-hander out of Mass, displays a clean 3-pitch mix.
• Benjamin Cukier, athletic a two-way guy, out of Connecticut. Good range at shortstop, projectable arm. Solid skill set.
• Chris Keating, athletic and projectable right-hander. His best days are in front of him.
• Ethan Devito, strong and athletic hitter. The power potential is significant.
• Kaiden Morin, athletic and strong armed right-handed hitting catcher out of Maine. Recently decommitted from Maine.
• Pedro Lopez, athletic and twitchy athlete, his best days are in front of him.
• Luke Wadstrup, a two-way guy, super athletic, good spinner off the mound.
