Alex Krylov C / OF / Newton North, MA / 2019

Report: 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitting catcher and outfielder. Excellent showing at the event. Ran a 4.55 down the line on his dig. Threw 79 mph from behind the dish, plus carry to the throwing. He can really throw, the arm is short on the backside and quick out front. The pop time is 1.84. The receiving is solid, can still continue to improve as he matures. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph. The setup is wide in base, knee to knee approach on the bottom half. The hands work free to the ball, path is direct and simple to the ball. The ability to spread the field was shown at the event. Solid prospect.
