We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2020 Northeast Legion Baseball Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2021-2023 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

2020 Northeast Legion Baseball Showcase - Quick Hits

  • Ethan Bonadies- A right-handed hitter, loose hands at the plate, balanced approach, more pull side, barrel works through the zone with easy effort, exit velocity of 89 mph. Runs well, is very athletic, throws ok, good follow.
  • Tyler Botelho- A left-handed hitter, can play on both sides of the bag, good flow and actions, with arm strength. At the plate, middle approach, can handle the bat, 2-hole type hitter, has some toughness to him.
  • Nathan Bowes- A right-handed hitter, simple approach at the plate, short swing to contact, more pull, hard contact in batting practice with an 87 mph exit velocity. All throws on the bag, good footwork, interesting prospect in the 2023 class. 
  • Tyler Gonzalez- A left-handed hitting middle infielder, balanced approach at the plate, barrel stays in the zone a long time, sprayed the baseball from field to field, more line drives, swing is short to contact. The glove is soft, moves well to both sides, arm at 73 mph.
  • Matthew Haggerty- A right-handed pitcher, simple, online delivery, located all pitches in the zone, fastball touched 74 mph, with a slurvy breaking ball. 
  • Eric Ladd- A right-handed hitting outfielder, loose hands at the plate, level to up path, more right-center approach. The frame is strong and durable.
  • Isaacs Minaya- A right-handed hitter, more pull side approach, with a closed off stance, swing is down to level. Ran a 7.35 sixty-yard dash, with an 88 mph exit velocity off the bat. The frame is long and lean, with room for added weight gains.
  • Glenn Halliday- A right-handed hitter, shows above average power, had an exit of 97 mph, middle to pull side. The hands are loose and relaxed, getting through the baseball. Showed feel at first base. Off the mound was up to 78 mph, working from a higher slot, showed a bigger breaking ball from top to bottom, clocked at 62-63 mph.
