2024 OUTLOOK

"We return a solid core of players from the Class B third place finish in 2023. Replacing All-Nebraska player Connor Capece will be a challenge but the Cougars feel good about the arms they return in Bies, Miller and Yeshnowski. Gross will also return two outfielders in Nate Pechar (CF) and Bryson Sargent along with three infielders in Miller, Kozeal and Duncan. Kozeal's offensive emergence in legion ball will provide the middle of the order bat to help in run production." - Jim Hempel, Head Coach
