PBR Comments from Missouri Valley Preview:
5-foot-10, 155-pound two-way player that ran a 5.06 40-yard sprint. Consistently squared up balls during batting practice round. Quiet stance. Slight toe tap triggers stride. Slight uphill swing plane with long follow through. 76 mph exit velocity off the tee. Good feet in the field. Quick ball transfer with accuracy on throws. 76 mph velocity across the infield from low 3/4 arm slot. On the mound, simple quite mechanics. Throws from a short 3/4 arm slot with stiffness in body at finish. Small hop on backside adds some deception. Hands come out cleanly from glove. Showed the ability to throw strikes with changeup and breaking ball.

PBR: Why did you choose Northern Colorado? 
I chose Northern Colorado because of how tremendous their coaching staff is and the program is on an upward trend. Also I've dreamed of playing division 1 ball out of the state since I was a young select player. 
  
 
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
I first came in contact with their assistant coach Kainoa Correa at the Kansas baseball camp. After the Kansas camp I came in contact with them at there camp and kept in touch with coach  Kainoa, and took an unofficial visit that impressed me. 
 
PBR: Who do you play for in the fall and what has been the best experience thus far?
In the fall I play for the Nebraska Prospects. My best experience with them was finishing runner-up in the PG kernels classic tournament in Cedar Rapids Iowa. 
 
PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
The coaching staff has a very high knowledge of coaching players to become the best baseball players they can be, along with the nice campus they have and academic courses.
 
PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
Josh Scheffert 
 
PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?
I expected the recruiting process to be a very difficult task. After all once I came in contact getting college looks the process became much easier than I expected. 
 
PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?
Compete for a starting position in the middle infield.
 
PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
My most memorable baseball moment was winning the A-6 district championship in 2016.
 
PBR: Who is the best pitcher that you have competed against?
Joey Machado (Creighton Prep, '16, Signed with Nebraska-Omaha)

PBR: Going into your junior season, what are you expectation for you team?
I expect our team to have a solid lineup to produce runs, our pitching rotation should be fairly deep this year with some young arms to help us get to our goal of a district title and a state run.
