Name: Ty Roseberry
Position: First base
Class: 2016
Height/Weight: 6-foot-1, 210-pounds
High School: Kearney
Commitment: Nebraska-Kearney
ROSEBERRY: I loved the campus/facilities and loved the coaching staff.
ROSEBERRY: Southeast CC, Allen County CC, and Central Missouri.
ROSEBERRY: I play here in Kearney so they have seen me play all 4 years of high school. Over the past couple months it has been amazing talking to them and taking my visit. It just clicked and I knew it was where I wanted to play.
ROSEBERRY: Yes, it was a great relief and I am glad I can just play now and not worry about where I will be next year.
ROSEBERRY: They gave a great offer as far as scholarship money go's and I just felt at home on my visit. I also love the facilities and they play in one of the best leagues in Division II (MIAA).
PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
ROSEBERRY:I would say both my parents have. They are the ones that drove me all over the country to play throughout my career. They both have been role models in my life and people I hope I can be like when I am older.
ROSEBERRY: I knew it was going to be somewhat difficult. Something that made it easier for me was recruiting sites made it very easy to send video and contact coaches.
ROSEBERRY: They made it evident they are short on first basemen so if I perform like I can I may have chance to see some solid playing time. I will have to battle it out with a few other guys.
ROSEBERRY: Hitting a three-run homerun in legion state last year to go up a run in the 8th inning.
ROSEBERRY: I'm gonna say Byron Hood. He pitched against us my Sophomore year and he was a senior. It was my first year on varsity and he was pumping around 90-92 so it was something I hadn't seen before.
