PBR Nebraska strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

Scouting Report

6-foot-1, 200 pound right handed pitcher tops out near 80 mph with his fastball. Mature build. High ¾ arm action, aggressive front side, gets down the mound with an athletic finish. Some run on fastball. 10/6 shape breaking ball for strikes, lands it easy. Feel for change up in the strike zone, heavy action, fairly flat.

PBR: Why did you choose Cloud County CC?
I chose Cloud County because when I went down there for my visit Coach Gilliland and Coach Sindelar really made it feel like home. I immediately knew it was some place that I would feel comfortable playing at.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
I was considering Northeastern Junior College and Doane. Ultimately it came down to being close to home and feeling the most comfortable where I am going to be playing at.
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
We had a tournament down there this fall and the game I was starting got cancelled due to the weather. One of our coaches talked to Coach Gilliland about me while they were there and I started texting him a few weeks later and we got a visit set up.
PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

I just really felt comfortable while I was down on my visit and I know Coach Gilliland has the resources to better me as a baseball player and send me on to the next level after my time at Cloud.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Without a doubt my parents have done the most for me and really shaped me into the person and player I am today. Also, the coaches here at Southwest and all of the coaches in the Prospects organization that have helped turn me into the baseball player I am now.

PBR: You've played with the Nebraska Prospect for the last two year, what has that experience been like?

Playing for the Nebraska Prospects has been an amazing experience. Coach Kenny, Coach Leighton, Coach McGuire and Coach Bride have really helped me develop as a baseball player these last two years and have helped give me this opportunity to play at the next level.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Our biggest emphasis will be to gain velocity by continuing to develop lower body strength as well as using driveline.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Without a doubt my favorite baseball memory is from the area tournament this past summer when we had back to back walk-off wins over Northeast and East to send us to state.

PBR: Who is the best player you have competed against?
Cameron Frederick. That’s an easy one, that kid has the most consistent bat in the state. I don’t think there are many guys in the state that have the talent and work ethic that he does.
